Plants, like humans, need sleep. Thanks to the automation system in Vahaa Smart Garden, the plant grow lights remain on at certain hours of the day and turn off at certain times. Depending on the plant type, the plant grow lights remain on for an average of 16 hours and off for 8 hours. You can adjust the light exposure times of your plants using the Vahaa Mobile Application. This way, you can provide your plants with the appropriate amount of light to support optimum growth. You can also set the time intervals for the lights to remain on and have the flexibility to adjust them differently for summer and winter seasons.

The grow lights in the Vahaa Smart Garden are not UV lights that can harm health. However, grow lights should never be viewed directly with the naked eye.

After harvesting the plants you have grown in Vahaa Smart Garden, it is recommended that you perform some maintenance and cleaning operations before planting new ones. First, disconnect the device from the power supply. After removing the LED Module, you should remove the Water Pump Module (as shown in the Quick Start Guide). Clean all plastic parts thoroughly using a damp cloth and let them dry before reassembling. After draining the water from the water tank, clean the inside of the water tank and wipe it with a damp cloth. After cleaning all parts, complete the installation again by following the instructions shown in the user manual and quick start guide. The plants grown in the Vahaa Smart Garden are grown hydroponically in a soilless environment with specially formulated liquid plant nutrients. In this way, the plants are protected against any harmful organisms or heavy metal toxicity that may come from the soil. Vahaa Plant Nutrients are formulated and produced to grow plants in the most efficient and healthy way. These nutrients contain all the macro and micro elements that plants need to get from the soil.

As Vahaa, we have conducted all our experiments using drinking water. Although not mandatory, we recommend using drinking water when growing your plants, as the quality of the water used for the plants can affect their growth.

Each plant in the Vahaa Hobby Gardening Kits has different growing times. Green leafy plants and herbs are ready to harvest in an average of 3-4 weeks, while fruit plants and flowers are ready to harvest in an average of 10-12 weeks. To ensure optimum growth, you can refer to the timetables shown in the Hobby Gardening Kit user manual or the Vahaa App.

In order to have a healthy plant growing experience, it is very important to check the water level of your Vahaa Smart Garden every 3-4 days. When the water level drops below half of the water tank, it is recommended to add drinking water to the water tank. It is also recommended to refill the entire water tank with each nutrient change for optimum plant growth.
